UP-COMING FORUM

The 3rd Forum on Fronts of Geo-literary Studies

       The 3rd Forum on Fronts of Geo-literary Studies,hosted by College of Foreign Languages and Cultures of Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT), under the auspices of the Literary Geography Society of China, and co-organized by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP),will be held at Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) on November 6^th, 2021 (Saturday, full-day). Leading scholars in Chinese and international academia of geo-literary studies will be present to deliver keynote speeches.

       This forum aims to further develop literary geography through theoretical research, literary criticism and empirical studies, to promote geo-literary studies towards the world, to promote synergistic researches on foreign literature and Chinese literature, and to cultivate foreign language professionals with Chinese ethos and international perspectives.

1. Theories and concepts of Literary Geography

2. Geo-literary criticism and empirical studies

3. Literary Geography and comparative literary studies

4. Literary Geography and World Literature

5. Literary Geography and literary translation

6. International dissemination of Geo-literary Studies

       We will send out formal invitations by October 30th, 2021.

III. Onsite/Online Forum

       In accordance with the requirement of epidemic prevention and control, our keynote speakers will join the forum “onsite + online”; our guests and audiences may join the online forum.
